This is a shifter cable bushing for vehicles with the 4l60E transmission by General Motors. The remanufactured ones made today only last 1.5 years before they soften and become prone to falling off the shifter or transsion leaving you stranded. 

So I designed a new bushing that is highly heat and chemical restiance, and also resistan to repeated mechanical deformation. After replicaitng the original design of the bushing with a caliper, I saw that their could be many imporoment.

so I changed the design to allow greater rotation in the cup, giving better adjustability and strian relift when the shifter cable is reinstalled not in the same exact spot. I also changed the inside which interlocks to the shift lever and transsniun lever to be easier to install AND a much more secure fit so it will never fall off.
